This is five hours of training and meets the continuing education requirement for ongoing active trainer status. We have created a Refresher Training to go over the new material and the virtual training process.

There is new material in the form of Participant Manual 5.1, a power point slide deck and a set of protocols to use as you present in virtual format. Phases III and IV will be scheduled by the candidate to be completed by April 2023. During Phase IV, NCRT Candidates are observed, scored and recommended for certification if appropriate. During Phase III, NCRT Candidates practice with peers in opportunities scheduled in partnership with their Community Action Association. Phases III and IV are done independently. Candidates will be in groups of 2 or 3, each group working together to provide the training for one of dates in Phase 2. During Part 2 the NCRT Candidates will present the curriculum material. 5, 7 and 9 - 1:00 to 4:00 Eastern Time each day. This is the time when the delivery of the curriculum is demonstrated using a virtual format. 9 and 111 - 1:00 to 4:00 Eastern Time each day. There are slots available in this cohort. Phases III and IV will be scheduled by the candidate to be completed by February 2023. Phase II Part 2 is scheduled for Oct 10, 12 and 14 - 1:00 to 4:00 Eastern Time each day.
